AM I SUITABLE FOR TREATMENT?

In order to assess suitability Dr Emma will discuss your concerns during the consultation. At this point she will also review your medical history to check there are no contraindications to treatment. You may not have this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.


WHAT TYPE OF RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?

Results will start to take effect within 1-2 weeks after treatment, and last around 6 months. 


IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME FOLLOWING TREATMENT?

Downtime is minimal for this treatment. Some slight bruising may occur at the injection site. 


HOW PAINFUL IS THE TREATMENT?

Many people describe the treatment as a ‘mild sting,’ and find it very comfortable. We use the smallest needles available to make the process as painless as possible. 


HOW LONG WILL RESULTS LAST?

Approximately 6 months 


DO I NEED TO FOLLOW ANY AFTERCARE?

You should avoid anti-perspirant on the day of treatment. We would also ask that you avoid heavy exercise, alcohol and extremes of temperatures for 24 hours post treatment. A detailed aftercare leaflet will be emailed to you post treatment.
